  • Talk about ourself, other people, animals or things before now, finished things.
 
AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES
 
 
subject  +  verb (past form)  + complements

We                 visited                    the zoo  yesterday.
 
(It doesn't matter if the subject is I, you, he, she,it,  we, you or they)
 
 
 
NEGATIVE SENTENCES
 
subject    +  DID +  NOT + verb (infinitive form)  + complements
